Weedon Island Preserve volunteer Perry Strom makes his way through the mangrove tunnels along the paddling trail at Weedon Island Preserve making sure the path is clear for visitors. Nestled between the thriving cities of Tampa and St. Petersburg, Weedon Island Preserve offers a fun and easy daytrip for fishing, hiking and paddling. 2 mile and 4 mile paddling trails meander through mangrove tunnels, over seagrass flats and around mangrove islands.
